Upon Joe Biden’s exit from the White House, he threw in a series of questionable pardons and commutations including one that commuted the sentence of a “drug lord who murdered an eight-year old boy and his mother.” According to RedState, Adrian Peeler, who is said to have murdered the child and his mother to stop them from testifying, was among those whose sentences were commuted at the ACLU’s request to pardon “non-violent drug offenders.” Peeler is reportedly set to be released in July.
Biden said in a statement upon the release of 2,500 people convicted of nonviolent drug offenses, that pardoning them is “an important step toward righting historic wrongs, correcting sentencing disparities, and providing deserving individuals the opportunity to return to their families and communities after spending far too much time behind bars,” according to the AP.
Justice for the victims of the criminals and their families seemed to be far from the president’s mind, and his administration’s, as he signed off on the commutations.
“Relatives of an 8-year-old boy and his mother who were murdered by a Connecticut drug gang are outraged that a man convicted in the killings was one of nearly 2,500 people whose drug-related prison sentences were commuted by former President Joe Biden in his last days in office.
Adrian Peeler served a 20-year state prison sentence for murder conspiracy in the 1999 shootings of Leroy ‘B.J.’ Brown and his mother, Karen Clarke, in Bridgeport — killings that shocked the city and led to improvements in state witness protection. Prosecutors said Brown and his mother were assassinated to prevent the child from testifying in another murder case.”
There appears to be little to no outrage among Democrats, however, many of whom are too busy obsessing over Trump’s pardons of those involved in the January 6th riot. RedState highlighted Democratic Senator Mark Kelly (AZ) for posting on X “As the son of two police officers, it’s outrageous to see people convicted of assaulting officers at our Capitol be pardoned by President Trump,” adding, “It’s a sad day for our country.”
Where is the outrage for commuting the sentence of an actual murderer who took the life of an innocent child and his mother? Is that not a “sad day” for America?
To Kelly’s point that pardoning those who were “assaulting officers” is “outrageous,” ResState points out that he apparently does not find it “outrageous” to commute the sentence of a man who actually murdered two FBI agents, a criminal whom Biden tended to before leaving office.
According to the Michigan Advance, Biden commuted the sentence of Leonard Peltier, a “Native American activist” who was serving life in prison after being convicted of killing two FBI agents 50 years ago. “According to Biden’s statement, tribal nations, Nobel Peace laureates, former law enforcement officials — including the former U.S. attorney whose office oversaw Peltier’s prosecution and appeal — and human rights organizations support granting Peltier clemency. They cite Peltier’s advanced age, illnesses, his close ties to and leadership in the Native American community, and the substantial length of time he has already spent in prison.”
Still, some are trying to figure out how former President Biden was able to commute the sentence of someone who murdered a child and his mother, let alone the murderer of two FBI agents. RedState questions whether the commutation was truly an “accident,” just another act of “social justice,” or another example of Biden’s cognitive decline.
Of course Biden did not get those names out of thin air. He was given a list to pardon.
There are some classic saying… “Follow the Money” and “Friends in High Places”.
No idea if they apply…
The so called J6 offenders have been held without a trial for approx. 4 years. This is how it goes down in Communist countries. They didn’t have their ” day in court” as was their Constitutional rights. However, the frightened DC cop that shot an unarmed young female in the face, killing her, and was proud of it, faced no possible charges.
That was the upside-down justice of the Biden regime.
I surely hope that I’m not standing in line near Joe Biden on Judgment Day when he has to answer for all his offenses against God and humanity.
The drug lord, that Biden pardoned, probably had dirt on Hunter. Deep trafficking types of things. The kind that nobody affiliated with Biden or Obama can afford to have published. Why else pardon a scum bag like that?
