Anti-ICE Activists Put Agents at Risk With Flyers Exposing Identities in LA

Anti-Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activists in the Los Angeles area are escalating their protests, now publishing the personal information of ICE and Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) agents, Fox News reports. Flyers featuring agents’ names, photos, and phone numbers have appeared in Southern California neighborhoods. Federal law enforcement sources confirmed the disturbing reports to Fox News.

The posters, written in Spanish, accuse the agents of “racially terrorizing” communities and causing family separation.

According to Fox News, the posters state, “These armed agents work in Southern California. ICE and HSI racially terrorize and criminalize entire communities with their policies. They kidnap people from their homes and from the streets, separating families and fracturing communities. Many people have died while locked up in jails, prisons, and detention centers.”

ICE officials are investigating the source of the posters. A Department of Homeland Security (DHS) spokesperson condemned the activists, accusing them of endangering law enforcement officers and shielding dangerous criminal organizations.

“These pathetic activists are putting targets on the backs of our law enforcement as they shield MS-13, Tren De Aragua and other vicious gangs that traffic women and children, kidnap for ransom and poison Americans with lethal drugs,” the spokesperson said, adding that “This shouldn’t be controversial,” and vowing accountability for those obstructing law and justice.

A Los Angeles FBI spokesperson issued a statement cautioning that interfering with law enforcement operations could lead to potential prosecution. While the FBI safeguards freedom of speech and assembly, the spokesperson said, anyone impeding the law enforcement operations and “potentially threatening the safety of law enforcement agents and subjects of their investigations” is subject to “investigation and potential prosecution by the Department of Justice.”

An ICE source told the New York Post that “the administration needs to be more aggressive about these groups, which are putting agents’ safety in jeopardy.”

According to The Post, anti-ICE activists have been “patrolling migrant neighborhoods” as they serve as a lookout for ICE agents and warn locals of coming sweeps. Ron Gochez of the activist group Unión del Barrio reportedly told Spectrum News that he has around 150 volunteers supporting the anti-ICE efforts and boasted of disrupting at least two raids last week. Gochez explained that they use a megaphone to alert people as to what is happening. Gochez’s group is just one of more than 50 operating within the “Community Self-Defense Coalition.”

Los Angeles reportedly has a population of more than 800,000 “undocumented” migrants. Border enforcer Tom Homan has repeatedly pointed out that ICE has been targeting violent criminal illegal migrants in the Trump administration’s effort to make America safe again.
