President Trump will be sending Air Force One to bring Former President George H.W. Bush’s body to DC. President Bush will lie in State late Monday through Wednesday in the United States’ Capitol Rotunda. President Trump also announced Wednesday as a national day of mourning.

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump released a joint statement on President Bush’s passing:

Former Chief Political Advisor to President George H.W. Bush, Charlie Black appeared on “Justice with Judge Jeanine” on Saturday. Black told the Judge, “I hope he is most remembered for his masterful diplomacy and foreign policy expertise” citing Bush’s Cold War clean-up and Gulf War victory.

His service dog, Sully, was by his side after the passing of Barbara Bush during his struggle with Parkinson’s disease. Sully will accompany the casket on ‘Special Air Mission 41’ to Washington. A spokesman for the Bush family Jim McGrath tweeted an emotional photo of the yellow lab beside the casket.

The 41st President passed away on Friday in Houston. After ‘Special Air Mission 41’ the casket will be returned to Texas. The former president will be buried with his wife and daughter Robin, who passed away from leukemia at the age of 3.
