AG Barr To Testify Before House Judiciary Committee
Attorney General William Barr will testify before the House Judiciary Committee on March, 31, according to a letter released Wednesday by the committee’s Chairman Jerrold Nadler, NY, and signed by twenty-three of his Democrat colleagues of the committee.
The Democrat committee members allege that Barr has “engaged in a pattern of conduct in legal matters relating to the President that raises significant concerns for this Committee,” the letter states.
However, one GOP official told this reporter that it’s yet another move to resist the presidency of Donald Trump since Democrats didn’t have their way in the impeachment trial.
“It’s only fitting that the day Attorney General Barr is scheduled to testify, is the same day that the Supreme Court will hear arguments over access to the President’s financial records.” a GOP official told this reporter, “It just goes to show you that although impeachment is over, the attacks against the President just will not stop.”
