3 killed and 45 wounded in Chicago shootings over the weekend

A week since Chicago Police Superintendent Brown claimed that gun violence is on the decline, various shootings wounded 45 and killed three this weekend alone. Among those murdered, two have yet to be identified. According to Sun-Times Media Wire, no one is even in custody for any of these shootings.

Two of the wounded were 17-years old. They were shot in a drive-by shooting at three o’clock in the afternoon Saturday. Both are in good condition.

A 14-year-old boy was also wounded later that night. He was playing with his friends outside just before seven o’clock in the evening when a gunman opened fire. Out of his friends, he was the only one injured and is now in stable condition.
